Deadline looms in U.S.-Mexico tariff talks | Power and Politics

U.S. and Mexican officials said they are making progress in negotiations as a deadline looms to avert American import tariffs on all products coming from Mexico. U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to impose the tariffs in order to pressure Mexico into helping stop the flow of migrants crossing the United States’ southern border.
