Ariana Grande drops new album, says ‘thank u, next’ to Grammys drama
Ariana Grande is speaking out after a Grammys producer said the singer wasn’t performing at the Sunday night show because she “felt it was too late for her to pull something together.”
After Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich told The Associated Press that Grande said it was too late for her to adequately prepare, Grande refuted that claim on social media.
After sharing a screenshot of an article including Ehrlich’s comments, Grande wrote on Twitter: “i’ve kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me. i can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken. it was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend. i hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more.”
