New ‘Brexit Party’ will emerge if UK fails to leave
NIGEL Farage has vowed to lead a new Brexit party into the EU elections if we don’t leave in three weeks.
The ex-Ukip boss has vowed to take over and lead the newly created party into fresh polls if the PM keeps Britain in the EU after April 12.
That’s the deadline the EU set Britain last night to decide whether we want to stay in the bloc for months to come if a deal can’t be done next week.
Brussels bosses say that we can’t stay in the bloc unless we take part in EU elections, which would spark uproar among leave voters.
The PM has insisted it would be “wrong” for British politicians to fight European elections almost three years after they voted to get us out.
But if she can’t force her Brexit deal through next week then she faces a huge decision of whether to go for a long delay or take us out without a deal at all.
Brexiteers are turning up the pressure on her to leave with nothing before April 12…
