Turks Hold Symbolic Funeral for New Zealand Mosque Victims
About 200 Turks held symbolic funeral prayers Saturday, March 16, for the 49 people killed in mass shootings at two New Zealand mosques.
The attack on Friday, March 15, which Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern labeled as terrorism, was the worst ever peacetime mass killing in New Zealand. The country raised its security threat to the highest level.
