Fiat, PSA Boards Sign Off on $49 Billion Merger Plan

Oct.31 — French car maker Peugeot and its Italian-American rival Fiat-Chrysler have approved a preliminary plan to combine. The resulting company would rank among the world’s largest automakers with a potential $50 billion market cap.
