Labour backs abolishing private schools in conference vote
For years it’s been a rallying cry on the left of British politics. Now it has become Labour Party policy.
At the next general election, Labour’s manifesto will include a commitment to effectively abolish private schools.

But Conservatives criticised the move and the body that represents private education called it an act of “national self-harm”.
From Brighton, Sky’s political correspondent Lewis Goodall reports.
