Netanyahu vs. Gantz: Israel Election Too Close to Call, Exit Polls Show
Israel’s general election is too close to call, according to 3 exit polls by local television stations. PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s aligned bloc got between 54-57 seats vs Benny Gantz’s Blue and White-aligned bloc with 54-58, according to the polls. Netanyahu’s Likud party got 31-33 seats vs Blue and White’s 32-34. Forming a majority govt requires a coalition of 61 or more of the total 120 parliamentary seats Tuesday’s election was the second this year after Netanyahu failed to form a government in an April vote.
