Bilateral Talks Between Modi And Trump First Time After The Removal Of Article 370
Bilateral meeting to be held between President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Modi regarding the issue of Kashmir during G-7 Summit.
This is the first time both the leaders will be meeting after India has scrap Article 370, and Modi is expected to make it clear that scrapping of Article 370 is an internal matter of India. Pakistan must accept it.
President Trump has already offered to mediate on Kashmir issue three times. The two leaders will also be discussing the trade disputes between India and the United States, derailed due to increased tariffs, the legislation of E-commerce and WTO disputes.
Sidelines of the G-7 summit PM Modi met Brit Prime Minister Borris Johnson and UN chief to discuss the ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and in trade, defence, innovation.
Meeting with UN Secretary general and PM Modi encompassed issues like terrorism and India’s participation in Climate change.
