The history of upstart football leagues, from AAF to XFL | Always Late with Katie Nolan

Always Late with Katie Nolan takes a deep dive into the history and present of upstart football leagues outside the NFL, including the Alliance of American Football (AAF) which debuted in February 2019 and was called by one radio host “not half bad,” Vince McMahon’s XFL which will be rebooted in 2020 and seems to have an affinity for really slow raps, the United States Football League (USFL) which has a connection to a prominent current politician, and the American Flag Football League which is WAY tougher than you’d think. Nolan also introduces her own offshoot, the Federation of Always Late Alliance Football League, which has a really sick promo video (18:42).
