Husband of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe sings outside Iranian embassy

The husband of jailed British mother Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe has called for Boris Johnson to take responsibility for his actions after the couple ended their 15-day hunger strike today (Pictured right and left outside the Iranian embassy today in Knightsbridge, London, after ending the hunger strike and inset with Nazanin and their daughter Gabriella). In a blistering statement Richard Ratcliffe, who has been campaigning outside the Iranian embassy in Kinghtsbridge, London, for his wife’s release, also said that Mr Johnson (Pictured inset campaigning in Lancashire today) has failed to apologise to the family. During his tenure as foreign secretary the prime ministerial favourite said that Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe had been in Iran ‘teaching people journalism’ – a gaffe that Iranian authorities have used to justify her imprisonment. Her family have said that the charity worker, 40, was in the country with her then 22-month-old daughter to visit her parents.
